School is back in session which means more traffic and things to be aware of on the road like buses, students crossing, bicycles and school zones.

Follow those speed limits and keep an eye out for kids crossing the street or riding their bikes. Slow down and keep an eye out for signs and flashing lights.

Be Careful Around School Buses

If you see a school bus with its red flashing lights and stop sign extended, make sure to stop and wait until it’s clear. And don’t forget about those yellow flashing lights – slow down because the bus is getting ready to stop. Keep your eyes open for school zone signs and flashing lights – that means reduced speed limits are in effect.
